LLDD Recipes
This week, our LLDD learners have been hard at work learning about budgeting and the logistics of food shopping with limited budgets. After gathering a lot of recipes and learning how to shop for the best deals on ingredients, they were tasked with creating recipes to suit a modest budget.
The results were great, with a varied selection of recipes crafted by the learners, including everything from bolognaise and pasta dishes to shepherd’s pie and chili con carne!
The learners were then tasked with presenting their recipes on a recipe card – where the ingredients, equipment and methods were all written in the learners’ own words.
