Talk without speaking (with the RAF) – 23/09/22
Sgt Gemma Kimble from the Royal Air Force attended this weeks enrichment session. Sgt Kimble led a number of physical activities that learners participated in but the focus wasn’t on being the strongest or fastest.
In the RAF as in any employment teamwork and good communication skills are vital. Learners completed tasks such as arranging themselves in height order and shoe size without speaking. Learners also participated in an activity similar to Simon says where they had to demonstrate listening skills. The morning was completed with a fun game of tug of war where learners had to work together to beat their opponents.
