From Past to Present: Learners Engage With Local History Books
At Trinity Solutions Academy, our learners have embarked on an exciting exploration of local history. Thanks to the new books we've acquired, they have delved into the stories of Newcastle, making intriguing comparisons between the past and present, and gaining a deeper understanding of where they live.
Filled with captivating tales, vintage photographs, and personal anecdotes, the new books have been well received by our learners and have served as a wonderful reminder of our community's vibrant past.
Motivated by their newfound knowledge, our learners have continued work on a special local history booklet aimed at the residents of a nearby care home. Through this project, our learners have not only learned more about their area and its past, but they have also shown social action, making a meaningful contribution to their community.
