Learn to work - An insight into the work place
Three learners have already been given an insight into the world of work by embarking on work experience placements arranged by Trinity Solutions Academy. The work placements were sourced and secured based on the aspirations of learners including; Tiling, Warehousing and Mechanics. Work placements bring with them a whole host of benefits including; The opportunity to gain recent experience, develop a range of transferable and practical skills, the opportunity to give 'real' examples when faced with competency based interview questions and the opportunity to experience the workplace, explore career options and potential progression routes.
Harry who is currently on placement at Fareshare has already started to develop his vocational language using correct terminology for his role in picking and packing. Gabe is developing his knowledge further in Mechanics at West Automotive with the opportunity to assist mechanics in carrying out a range of repairs and servicing. Leona has independently tiled a splashback to a high standard whilst on placement with S Alderdice Tiling.
