This week in Motor Vehicle 28.04.22
Learners on the Motor vehicle course have been looking into ways to recycle old car tyres with wheels, after Internet research and a few discussions; they decided to go with a planter idea.
The learners set to work turning the tyre inside out while still attached to the steel wheel; they found this the most difficult part as the tyres are made up of steel belts running through the tread. The learners did a great job and worked well together to get the task done. This was stage one the next stage will be filling them with soil and plants. Our learners suggested donating them to our local community, we will be contacting local churches and community centres and groups in the following weeks.
