Preparing the Readers of the Future
For the learners on roll juggling the responsibilities of education, work placements and parenting, we would like to present our learner Lending Library.
Staff from Trinity Solutions have donated children’s books from their own homes in the hope that we can encourage you to read to your children, siblings, and those within your bubbles. We will continue to update and diversify the collection throughout the year.
Currently, there are classics such as ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ and ‘Five Minutes’ Peace’; stories from favourite characters including Peppa Pig and Mog; and topics that range from steam trains and zoos to dinosaurs and gingerbread men.
In other words, there is something to please everyone!
When it is safe to do so, you can borrow books for as long as you require, where they will then be ‘quarantined’ for 5 days before being placed back on the shelves. There is zero cost and, if you fall in love with a particular book, a chance for you to keep them – no questions asked.
Reading is incredible for developing little one’s brains (their ability to concentrate, social skills and communication skills); teaching them about other cultures, and helping them to understand their emotions. Reading together can be an exceptional bonding experience too.
