A Learner With a Story to Tell

In English lessons, we get to see learners discover their strengths in unexpected ways. Recently, one learner showed just how powerful creative writing can be. He wrote a striking story about a lone child drifting through nothingness, shaping oceans, forests, and mountains out of emotion and imagination before the dream collapses back into reality.
What impressed us most wasn’t just the imagery, but the control and clarity behind it — the confidence to build a world from scratch and the skill to pull the reader into it.
Writers aren’t always the loudest voices in the room. Sometimes they’re the ones who let their ideas speak for them. This learner did exactly that.
