A new and exciting term at forest school begins
The morning air was crisp, the learners arrived at Forest School for the very first time. Their eyes widened with wonder—no classrooms, no desks, just towering trees, soft moss underfoot, and the sound of birdsong all around.
The learners were about to start a 12-week programme at forest school. They were excited and couldn’t wait to explore! Once being introduced to the forest school leaders, the learners were able to set off and explore the forest. They wandered deep into the forest and got to discover the river and the mega swing. The learners were amazed and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. After their walk they headed back to camp and learnt how to start a fire. They sat in hammocks while the fire was blazing and discussed what they wanted to do the following week.
