Lending a Hand
Our learners have been getting stuck in to some additional life skills this week. They were tasked with unpacking and assembling (under staff supervision) a series of bookcases, shelves, and cupboards.
The group were remarkably coordinated and worked well as a team, splitting off into groups and tackling the task at hand in a way that showed great problem-solving and teamwork. They have managed to complete most of the units, with several more to finish up by the end of the week – and are feeding back that they’ve learnt a lot, and really enjoyed the task.
They’ve taken photos as they went, and have done a write-up of the methods and techniques they used.
