    Loving life skills

    This year learners have been working hard on their independent living skills. Last half term one of learners has been working on independent travel training and on her first week back she has managed to access public transport with her travel trainer from the Independent travel training programme!

    There have been discussions in the maths department recently surrounding a recent news article about making mathematics compulsory for learners up to the age of 18. The article briefly outlined the government intentions to make some sort of maths compulsory for learners, up to the age of 18.

    Breakfast Club

    We have now introduced a free breakfast club two mornings per week. With some donations from our Tesco Community Champion – Karen, alongside other items, we were able to put together a range of breakfast options for our learners.
