Maths - Exam Results

As we return from the half-term break, learners have started to receive the results of the exams they completed earlier this term. For many, these results bring a real sense of achievement and recognition for their hard work — congratulations to all who have reached their targets!
For others, the outcomes have highlighted areas that may need a little more attention. That’s completely normal, and we’re proud of everyone’s efforts so far. Resit exams are already being booked in for those who need them, giving learners a valuable chance to improve their results before the summer break.
This is an ideal time for reflection. We’re encouraging all learners to take a moment to consider:
- What went well in these exams?
- Which topics or areas proved most challenging?
- Did their revision methods work as intended?
- What changes could help them prepare better for future assessments?
Learners are reminded to speak with their teachers to:
- Request a detailed breakdown of their exam results to identify strengths and areas for development.
- Collect any revision worksheets or resources that will support their preparation for resits.
It’s all part of the learning journey — and with support, reflection, and focused effort, every learner can move forward with confidence.
