Learners Information

Trinity Solutions Academy's Learn to Work programme is a roll-on, roll-off course with a strong vocational focus.

Learners can gain qualifications up to Level 2 in industries such as Motor Vehicle, Salon, Construction, Teaching Assistant, Health and Social Care, Law, Animal Care and Horticulture and Business Administration, as well as undertaking work-based training in high-quality work placements.

Each vocation offers our learners the opportunity to participate in the highest quality work placements with prominent and reputable companies across Newcastle. Many of our learners have gone on to gain apprenticeships or employment this way.

Learners are also able to study towards their English and Maths qualifications, from Functional Skills up to GCSE, and develop their knowledge of Digital Skills and PSD through creative and engaging weekly classroom sessions.

Newcastle Careers and Guidance Team

Provides careers information, advice and guidance to young people aged between 13 and 19. Individuals aged 16-25 with an EHC Plan will be supported by their SEN Caseworker. The team can support individuals to make positive choices about their future with information about college courses, apprenticeships, 6th form in schools, employment and a range of other options depending on needs and interests. www.newcastlecareers.org.uk has lots of useful information about opportunities after leaving school.
