Careers
What is Careers Education?
“It’s about young people finding purpose, discovering what matters to them, their place in the world, the point of studying and getting up in the morning. Sometimes people think careers is just information about options and planning for the future. It’s so much more. It can give hope, meaning, purpose, self-esteem and the ability to navigate the challenges of life.”
- Liane Hambly
Trinity Solutions Academy Careers Programme 23/24
Trinity Solutions’ Careers Education Programme provides learners with the skills and knowledge they need to progress into the world of work. It supports making choices, encourages research opportunities and the ability to manage transitions from education into training or employment.
All learners access an external work experience placement as part of their programme to develop practical skills and experience in preparation for the world of work.
All learners have at least 1 session per week of dedicated Careers Education Information Advice and Guidance which includes the development of Labour Market Information (LMI) both locally and nationally.
The Careers Lead is Sarah Butler, who can be contacted by the following means; sarahbutler@tanmat.org, 0191 298 6952
Our careers programme is supported by a series of events, activities and experiences listed below but is not exhaustive of what we offer.
This is only a select few of the opportunities learners have when they leave school, for more options please Google Training Providers in the North East.
