Business Administration

The course will be of special interest to those wanting to gain experience in an education setting. This course offers an individualised curriculum designed to prepare you for the world of work. You will gain practical experience and knowledge of working in the education sector, as well as enhancing your problem-solving, communication, teamwork and leadership skills.

Course details

Learners will gain a Level 1 and/or Level 2 qualification in Business Administration whilst completing a specialist three-day placement at a reputable organisation in Newcastle.

The Learn to Work Programme will also include:

Personal Social Development, Employability Skills, Maths and English (Functional Skills to GCSE), Digital Skills and British Values.

There are no formal entry requirements. Individual needs will be assessed at the interview to ensure you are enrolled in the most suitable programme.

Progression Routes:

The qualification is best suited to those who wish to work in an administrative support role. This can also lead to a career in office management or human resources.

Remote Learning:

All theory elements of each course can take place remotely with staff completing regular welfare checks. Training will be given to learners and policies will need to be discussed and acknowledged, before remote learning takes place.
