Exploring Careers in Care
Before Christmas, we had the opportunity to attend the NE1 Can event focussing on Nursing. We spoke with Nurses, Health and Care assistants, Sisters, Matrons, and Trainers from various nursing departments, including Children’s Care, Adult Care, Special Needs, Mental Health, and specialties such as Ear, Nose, and Throat.
We really enjoyed the morning and are looking forward to the next event in March, hosted by Newcastle Hospitals Trust, which will focus on Allied Health Professionals. This event will include interactions with Occupational Therapy, Art Therapy, Physiotherapy, and many other roles ending with ‘therapy’ in the job title.
