Law Learners Explore Careers in the Police Force

Last week, our Law learners had an exciting opportunity to attend a careers event focused on roles within the Police force — and it proved to be an inspiring and eye-opening experience for all involved.
Learners heard directly from a range of professionals at different stages of their careers, from officers just starting out right through to those approaching retirement. Speakers represented a variety of roles across the ranks, including Police Constables and Detective Inspectors, giving learners a broad and authentic insight into what a career in policing really looks like.
During the event, learners explored the different entry routes and pathways into the Police force, helping them to understand the options available to them after their studies. They also took part in interactive activities centred around one of the most important aspects of the job — prioritising the safety of the public.
The impact of the event was clear. One learner described the videos shown during the session as truly inspiring, sharing that the experience had cemented their aspiration to join the Police force.
These sessions are invaluable to our learners, providing them with the opportunity to explore career options and engage directly with employers and employees working in their chosen field. We look forward to bringing more exciting opportunities like this to our students in the future!
