Constructions First Wall
During our first practical lesson with construction the learners were tasked with building a pyramid using dry bricks. The goal was to build a wall 5 bricks in length and building it up into a pyramid using 15 bricks.
This proved to be a simple task for the class, with the majority of the walls, when checked with a spirit level came in plum or close to. For a first attempt this was fantastic to see.
Due to the success of the pyramid wall, the learners went on to build a dry corner which also exceeded expectations for the day.
Seeing the learners excel in their first practical lesson was brilliant and a great starting point to push for success throughout the year
