Attendance Rewards
Before half term, we celebrated excellent attendance with a special trip to Fayre Play at The Gate for 20 learners who achieved 100% attendance. The experience was full of fun and laughter, although some learners didn’t believe everything was quite fair, especially when it came to point scoring! It was a great way to reward their commitment and consistency with a memorable outing.
Attendance is important because it directly impacts learning and achievement. When learners attend college regularly, they benefit from continuous learning, build stronger relationships with peers and staff, and develop positive habits that support both personal and academic growth. Good attendance helps learners stay on track with coursework, engage fully in lessons, and make the most of the opportunities available at college.
We’re proud of those who reached 100% attendance and encourage all learners to aim for excellent attendance in the coming term. We’re also looking forward to our Christmas trip, with learners already enthusiastically suggesting ideas for where we should go next! There’s still time this half term to achieve 100% attendance - everyday counts!
