British Army Talk
Last Friday 13th June, a talk was delivered to learners by the British Army. The discussion consisted of the various roles available, entry routes and potential career progression within the Army that learners may wish to explore and that are available to them.
The individual delivering the talk talked about his experience and the opportunities the Army has given him since leaving school at 16 with no GCSE’s. It was good that learners could relate to the individual and potentially see themselves in his shoes, understanding that there are opportunities out there to see the world, learn new skills and even progress onto university to enhance their educational qualifications – all whilst being paid at the 
same time.
