Site Carpentry Skills in Action.
Our Post-16 learners have been developing their practical construction skills through an exciting new addition to the curriculum: Site Carpentry. As part of their recent project, learners successfully worked together to construct a roof structure, following both written and verbal instructions to complete tasks accurately and safely.
Throughout the activity, they demonstrated excellent awareness of health and safety procedures while using a range of industry-standard tools and equipment. This hands-on experience has helped learners build confidence, develop employability skills, and gain valuable insight into the construction industry, bringing classroom learning to life through real-world practical application.
