Construction - Cavity Wall
In construction, learners worked in pairs to construct a Cavity Wall. A Cavity Wall consists of 1 inner wall lining which are the smaller bricks laid together. The gap is where the cavity wall insulation would be, and the larger concrete blocks would be the outer wall lining.
Learners worked extremely well together, not only developing a range of transferable skills such as teamwork, communication, planning, time management and problem solving but they helped and supported each other throughout the build.
