Construction - Plastering
Within the construction lessons, we have now moved on from the bricklaying and wall building module to plastering and learning how to lay outdoor block paving.
Before the half term, learners completed worksheets on the plastering process, equipment required and the health and safety requirements for the module.
After this worksheet, learners created a poster on PowerPoint for an audience of younger learners who may want to carry out plastering as a profession. This included equipment needed, the health and safety requirements and a step by step guide on the overall plastering process.
Learners developed their IT skills, English vocabulary and enhanced their understanding of the plastering process.
