Growing Through Outdoor Learning
In forest school, learners worked together to make paracord bracelets, carefully weaving the cord to create their own colourful and practical accessories. They also explored woodcraft by using pieces of tree trunks to create small wooden accessories, developing their creativity while learning about natural materials.
For some learners, the highlight of the day was trying out the hammocks for the first time. A few chose to sit back and relax, while others lay down and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of the woodland.
The session provided a great opportunity for learners to build confidence, try new activities, and connect with nature, all while having fun and supporting each other. It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged and making the most out of the Forest School experience.
