Horticulture Season
This week in Land Based Studies, learners had a great day planting seeds in the greenhouse. They planted tomatoes, cucumbers, and cauliflower. The learners carefully put each seed into the soil and patted it down.
As we worked, we spoke about the tasty meals we could make with our vegetables. They learnt that plants need sunlight, water, and care to grow. After planting, we discussed the essential care we are going to have to provide for these plants to enable them to thrive. We are all looking forward to watching their progress.
