Inspiring Futures at Our Annual Careers Fair

On Friday, 7th March, we hosted our highly anticipated annual careers fair, an event designed to broaden horizons and help our learners take meaningful steps toward their future careers. The fair brought together a diverse range of businesses, colleges, and training providers, all committed to supporting young people in making informed choices about their next steps
With representatives from organisations such as Newcastle Council, MAN Truck & Bus, Fare Share, Bellway Homes, the Police, and the Army—alongside TyneMet and Northumbria College—learners were able to explore a wealth of career pathways. Engaging tasks and interactive discussions helped them develop their understanding of different industries, skills requirements, and potential
progression routes.
The event played a key role in achieving the Gatsby Benchmarks, ensuring that learners receive meaningful employer encounters and gain first-hand insights into the world of work. By connecting with professionals and discovering various education and training opportunities, our learners are better equipped to make informed decisions about their future, whether that be further education, apprenticeships, or employment.
With an enthusiastic response from learners and businesses alike, the careers fair reinforced our commitment to supporting learners in progressing toward positive destinations, helping them take confident steps toward fulfilling and successful careers.
