Is spring on the way?
Learners enjoyed a lovely day at forest school on Friday. When the learners first arrived they went on a walk down to the stream. On the way down to the stream, the learners had to explore and see if spring was on the way.
They discovered that snowdrops and daffodils had blossomed as the temperature has increased. The learners explored their senses through sight, smell and sounds whilst down at the stream.
They then headed back to base, where the learners lit the fire, as 
the learners were sitting round the fire they made keychains out of string. They also cooked beef stew on the fire.
The learners thoroughly enjoyed their session and enjoyed the nice weather, they hope for the spring weather to continue.
