Maths - Plans and Elevations
In maths, we have been exploring plans and elevations, learning how to represent 3D objects in 2D drawings. To help us develop a clear understanding, we used various objects from the classroom to visualise their shapes from different perspectives. Knowing how to draw and understand plans and elevations is useful in many jobs.
Builders and architects use these drawings to design and construct buildings, while mechanics use them to understand how machines are put together. These skills help people follow instructions, solve problems, and work accurately in real-life situations.
