Motor Vehicles This Week - 07.03.2025

Since returning from the Christmas break, our motor vehicle learners have been fully engaged in practical sessions, allowing them to cover most aspects of the IMI Level 1 Diploma course.
They have successfully completed the brake unit, where they gained hands-on experience making brake pipes and dismantling brake components. In addition, they have carried out vehicle servicing tasks and even tackled a full clutch replacement, enhancing their skills and confidence in real-world automotive repair.
These intensive practical sessions have been crucial in preparing learners for the imminent temporary closure of our garage due to upcoming building work. By maximising workshop time, students have gained valuable experience that will support their progression in the course. Despite the disruption ahead, they are well-prepared with a strong foundation in essential vehicle maintenance and repair skills, ensuring they can continue their learning effectively when practical sessions resume.
