The Beginning to Building a Career
The learners used a variety of skills to build new furniture for the Hub, combining both practical and cognitive abilities throughout the process. They applied measuring and mathematical skills to ensure accurate dimensions and alignment of each piece.
Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills were used when interpreting design plans and figuring out how the parts fit together. Through manual and technical skills, they demonstrated precision and attention to detail. Collaboration and communication skills were also essential, as they worked together to share tools, ideas, and responsibilities.
The learners have not only developed a variety of skills, they have also contributed to our learner hub by assembling all the flat-pack furniture - something they can take real pride in.
