This exciting event brought together a wide range of professionals from Newcastle Hospitals Trust to engage with young people and showcase career opportunities within the NHS. Learners interacted with approximately ten different departments, gaining valuable insights into what it’s really like to work with individuals facing health challenges.

Participants were able to try out medical procedures such as keyhole surgery, tracheostomy care, ventilator use, and CPR to Pink Pony Club! These hands-on experiences made the event both educational and memorable.

The day also featured dynamic speed networking and interactive sessions, with representation from local universities and apprenticeship providers offering guidance and support. It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved!
