What are employers looking for in Apprentices?
Trinity Solutions Academy post-16 learners were lucky to have a guest speaker from Lovell Homes visit them on Friday to talk about what employers are looking for in future apprenticeship candidates.
The topics discussed were not just the need for teamwork and interpersonal skills but also
Attitude & Responsibility - How you communicate with others and take instruction/action
Self-confidence - How do you interact with others? Do you take ownership?
Respect - Respecting others regardless of status.
Overall I think the learners gained a good insight into what is needed to make a good impression to future.
