A visitor to Solutions
This week we had a very cute visitor to our Solutions HUB. One of the newest additions to the farm, came indoors with Ellie from the facilities team. Staff were thrilled to see the little one inside.
Our Land Based Studies learners have been involved in ensuring the new additions have very clean and comfortable accommodation in the barn and have heat lamps to keep the newborns extra warm. Learners were able to discuss the procedure with Ellie of how the newborns are delivered and cared for in the first few weeks of their lives. They knew a small goat was called a Kid, did you know goats are pregnant for around 150 days?
