FareShare Work Placement
A second year learner with work placement as their core aim has received outstanding feedback from work placement provider FareShare this week; Harry has become a very important and integral part of the FareShare volunteering team.
Performing general warehouse duties like housekeeping and order picking without being prompted as well as buddying some of the new volunteers from different placements and showing them the ropes. Interacting with some of the organisations that use our service, he has been very polite and helpful. All in all, Harry has become a very important asset to the operations of FareShare North East.
Work placements bring with them a whole host of benefits to learners including the opportunity to develop a range of transferable skills, develop a working routine, provide learners with a recent employer reference as well as experience to include on a CV.
