Spark Plugs
This week the learners in Motor Vehicle have been learning all about spark plugs. How they work, and how to fit them. They have looked over instructional videos and produced intricate diagrams about the physical makeup of spark plugs so that they better understand them.
We have also looked at testing the voltage and resistance in spark plugs, to help identify faulty or damaged ones that might also need to be replaced. The learners have then had the opportunity, working on our live cars here in the garage, to fit and test several different spark plugs (some of which were intentionally not working).
